Welcome to the Hot Rocks Sauna Experience
Step off the beaten path and into a world where nature, tradition, and tranquillity meet. Nestled in a quiet corner of a working sheep farm, our wood-fired sauna offers a rustic retreat like no other, built with sustainability at its heart and surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Irish countryside.
Horse Box Sauna & Cold Plunge Tubs
Our sauna is housed in a lovingly restored horse box, blending rural charm with thoughtful, eco-friendly design. Nearby, five cast iron bathtubs, once used as cattle drinkers on the farm, have been reborn as cold plunge tubs. Fed by a gently flowing stream, the water is naturally refreshed, eliminating the need for chemicals and offering a pure, invigorating dip.
Positioned to catch the evening sun, the tubs overlook an ancient fairy fort (or “rath”), encircled by whispering trees and hedgerows that invite you to slow down and reconnect.
From the moment you arrive, the landscape gently welcomes you in. Birds, water, wind and open space become part of your experience.
Every detail here has a purpose and a story rooted in care, reuse, and respect for nature. Come and find a moment of peace in a place shaped by the land and guided by it’s rhythms.

What to bring?
To ensure your visit is as comfortable as it is memorable, please come prepared:
Sturdy footwear for crossing the sheep field. With all the rain recently the field is very wet and muddy, so if you have them, bring your Wellies!
A torch if arriving after dark (pathways are lit, but extra light helps)
Swimwear and 2 towels, one to sit on inside the sauna, and the second to dry off with
Warm layers for post-sauna cool-down, especially in colder months
Please arrive 5 minutes before your booking time and come changed. A small hut is available for storing belongings and changing after your session.
Note: there is no toilet on site.
Please Note:
No under 16’s allowed in the sauna and cold plunges
Cancellations and booking changes must be made at least 12 hours before your scheduled session.
Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited
Booking information
You can either select an individual booking on your preferred date in a shared 45 minute session, or you can book the entire sauna for a private 45 minute session, with a maximum of 5 people.
